I WILL COMMENT THAT I HAVE AN INSPIRON 3050, YOU HAVE INSTALLED WINDOWS 8 BUT AGREE TO MY WANT TO SWITCH TO WINDOWS 7, BUT SERVICE IN SUPPORT OF DELL DELL ME SAY NO EVIDENCE HAS ECHO WITH THIS OPERATING SYSTEM. AND ATTEMPT TO BASICS IN BIOS BUT DO NOT LET ME ..... CAN ANYONE HELP, SOMEONE SPECIAL SAVE HOW. AND ATTEMPT TO BASICS AT BIOS, BUT NOTHING, I STILL COULD.

I just put a 128 GB 2.5" SSD in and the BIOS (UEFI) does see the new drive.
